The 'Ararat Centre for the Community' is the name given to the new building attached to the church. It was opened in 2004.
During the week most of activities take place in one of the  numerous rooms.
The building is equiped with toilets for the disabled and a lift to the first floor.

Room Hire:

The rooms are available for hire by outside organisations for functions and children's parties. The office should be contacted for availability and charges.
Conferences:
The Centre is able to host all day conferences for groups of up to 30 people, and with its modern kitchen is able to provide light meals and
refreshments. 
Computer Courses:
The centre has an IT room with a suite of 10 computers hooked up to the internet with broadband. The computers have the latest 'Vista' operating system and the full suite of Microsoft Office Programs.
Courses are available during the year at starter and improver level.
Short courses are available using programs 'WORD' (for word processing), 'EXCELL' (for spreadsheets), 'PUBLISHER' (for creating publications) 'ACCESS' (for creating databases) as well as the use of the INTERNET and E-MAILING.

The  room can be hired for a day and the facilities are ideally suited for staff training for businesses.
